Assembled by Dominican producers Ramón Cordero and Martires de León in 1998, Monchy & Alexandra comprises Ramón Rijo (aka Monchy) (max Born in La Romana in 1977) and Alexandra Cabrera de la Cruz (aka Alexandra) (max Born in Santo Placido Domingo in 1978). A successful international go followed their number 1 attain, "Hoja en Blanco."
